wounded hearts women's retreat

image1023

A Retreat open to ALL women in hopes of assisting in Healing and Growth.

Through our experiences we embody a range of emotions and energies.  Sometimes these events cause pain.  They can stick with us for long periods of time, subesquently preventing us from fully healing and moving forward with our lives productively.

When we set aside time for healing and create rituals that have a symbolic meaning to us, we can move this energy around and release it.  A ceremonial process to release negative energy is a symbolic way to attach our pain to something physical and move it out and away from us.

My name is Jessi, and I recently suffered a miscarriage.  This loss has been intensely painful for my partner and I.  I have never in my life experienced trauma like this loss.  The grief has kept me in a dark place, questioning everything and feeling very alone.  I have struggled to find a way to move through the pain.   After posting about our loss on social media, I was in awe of the amount of women who reached out to me and had suffered similar losses.

It made me think of all my friends who had suffered some type of loss.  I began to think about my good friend who lost her father-in-law a few short weeks ago.  I thought of my friend who went through a painful divorce this year.  I thought of my friend who lost her home she loved dearly.  I thought of all my friends who have suffered through the loss of the life we once knew "before Covid."

Loss after Loss, my heart broke for all of the women in my life.  Through my own struggle and yearning for the release of pain for my sisters, I set the intention to give back to the women I loved who needed reassurance that in their darkest hours there was light to be received.  It was clear to me that the comforts of a phone call or texting them that they were loved wasn't good enough.  The soul craves a deep connection to human touch, body language that emulates compassion that is seen by the eye, and devotion that only the presence of human kindness can uplift.

The download I received? We can heal our own heart by helping others heal theirs, and the idea of a Wounded Hearts Women's Retreat was born.

Our intention for this one night retreat is for women of all ages and backgrounds to come together in unity and love, to support each other in a spiritual release of any loss that has left your heart wounded and needs to be freed.
